Preparation Method:

1.5-methyl -1,3,4-oxadiazole is reacted with oxalyl chloride (oxalyl chloride) to generate 5-methyl -1,3,4-oxadiazole -2-carbonyl chloride.
2. The obtained 5-methyl -1,3,4-oxadiazole-2-carbonyl chloride is reacted with potassium hydroxide to generate 5-Methyl-1,3, oxadiazole acid potassium salt.
